Sometimes the best way to attack a market is from the angle from which your competition is not utilizing. When a Realtor approaches a FSBO, the owner of the home can be put on the defensive because they think that the agent’s main focus is to list the home. However, when a lender approaches the owner and volunteers to help, we don’t necessarily witness the same reaction.

I can help the owner through a variety of tools, including a professional visitor’s log with an offer to follow-up on prospects viewing the home, professional home presentation flyers, a special report to offer visitors and the ability to help the owner offer a home warranty if they desire. What these services do is help build trust. If the home does not sell, which is often the case, I will be in position to recommend our Realtor partner.
