As a leading area mortgage lender, I have always tried to become an expert source of information for my real estate clients. I work exclusively with a small group of top real estate producers and I find that the main thing they ask of me, I cannot give them. It is not as though I do not want to, but my wish is the same as theirs. Leading producers all would like more time.
It is no surprise that time management is a top issue with industry leaders–no matter what the industry. Top producers attempt to get more done and in doing so put tremendous strain on this most precious resource. What can result is a more stressful life even as we succeed in the business world.
Many wish they had more time for recreational pursuits, family, charities, or just for plain old down time. Others would like to take their production to the next level but are afraid to put further strain on already stressful lives.
It is this wish that leads me to provide my top agents with a series of communications on the topic of time management. I have used this discussion many times to help guide my own activities because I face the same pressures as any other top producer. I hope you will find the guidance worthwhile.
The one way that I have distinguished myself from other vendors of the real estate industry is that I try to provide added value to my clients. I hope you will find my letters an example of this value. I look forward to receiving feedback from you as you read this series on time management.
